Built on a rural hill-top, this family home boasts almost entirely new construction. This was an extensive renovation throughout with key features – the timber work on the cedar cladding, new aluminium joinery, a new roof and roof framing, Tasmanian oak floors throughout, lovely tiled bathrooms, brass hardware and fittings, colonial style doors, and whitewashed tongue and groove ceilings.

All of this was expertly put together to create a comfortable, quality family home on a rural hilltop with views from Wellington to Tasman. This project has been a highlight for the Renovate Me team and a testament to the time and effort put into it from all involved.

Testimonial – Stephen Greer and Kate MacNamara

A rural hilltop site with a house built but poorly documented in the 1990’s combined to turn a difficult and extensive renovation into what could reasonably be described as a new build.

With James confidently managing the project from start to finish close to 100% of the house was replaced with quality material and fixtures. This included the structural framework, the flooring, walls, doors, windows, roof, ceilings, chimney, plumbing, electric, gas, siding, water, septic system, deck, verandah, and even part of the driveway.

James, his crew, and subcontractors have a depth of experience and an attention to detail that would be difficult to find elsewhere.

We live in a beautiful house thanks to James and Renovate Me.
