As a life-long handyman who has always carried out my own renovations I wasn’t really thinking about getting someone in to do our bathroom and pantry. I had already done bigger jobs, pretty competently too, for an amateur. So it was with some reluctance that I agreed with my wife that we should get the professionals in this time.
I am so pleased that we did. Right from the get go communication with Louise and James was clear and we felt very confident to ask them to do our job after looking at an easy to understand quote. A date was set and the job was finished in the predicted time.
Renovate me took care of everything. This included the daunting task of getting drawings done and working with the council for approval and inspections. I am confident that the best contractors in town were used by renovate me. Problems came up along the way but they were resolved quickly, sensibly and economically.
Bills came in every fortnight and were lower than this old cynic had predicted. Really good value for money and it was clear where every dollar had been spent.
Last but definitely not least. Andy. The main builder who did most of the work and organised everything and everybody along the way. He was cool, calm and collected, even when the window maker got the measurements wrong! Very patient, extremely professional and a real craftsman. On top of all this he cleaned up after himself at the end of each day too! Take a bow Andy, you’re a legend! Special mentions also go to Shane the plasterer and Chris the sparky. Great work.
