Our renovation was to extend the deck on our existing home to optimise the expansive views of Tahunanui Beach and the Cut, to extend the master bedroom to include an ensuite, and to install a skylight in the kitchen to bring in more natural light.
We chose James for the project based on the recommendation of a close friend. Being based in Queenstown, we really needed to have a builder on site that we trusted, as we would not be there all the time. The recommendation that came to us about James gave us confidence that we could trust him, and James has lived up to this reputation.
James’ communication throughout the renovation was excellent, he did a very good job of keeping us informed and regularly sent us photographs. This meant we still had control of the day-to-day decisions, and could see what had happened when we were not there.
The end result is a true asset to our home, we feel the renovation has added much value and has made it an even greater pleasure in which to spend time. We greatly enjoy our new bathroom, lighter and brighter kitchen, and the larger deck.
