When we decided to renovate our home, Travis and I were unsure of what to expect from the renovation process. We chose to use Laird Building as we had previously met James through a friend, and had heard of his experience in renovations and his attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Our renovation was not a simple re-fit but a carefully thought out and creative labour of love. We really wanted a builder that was supportive of our vision for our home. We found James was happy to go the extra mile for us, and would discuss various options for us to consider during the renovation.

The team at Laird Building was willing to include us in the process as much as we wanted, with Travis completing some of the work, and to use the sub-contractors of our choice. We appreciated this as it made us feel that we were in control of the renovation and that James supported how we wanted to carry it out.

We were particularly anxious about the other tradespeople that would be working on our home, and their standard of work. James was happy to manage the tradesman, and was able to ensure all aspects of the renovation were at a high standard of workmanship. Some of the better aspects of the project were completed by tradespeople that James recommended to us.

Once we saw how James and his team operated on site we knew we could trust him to do a great job.

Throughout the renovation, James regularly checked in with us, and was always available to answer our questions and see to our concerns. I was pregnant with our daughter at the time of the renovation, and had always said the renovation was to be complete before she was born. True to his word, James had the project completed when he said it would be.

We are greatly satisfied with our renovation, we have a home that reflects our personality and we had a great experience getting there! We are happy with our choice to use Laird Building, and will recommend James and his team to anyone looking to renovate.

Laird Building (Renovate Me) will be our first choice for any future work that we do, and we are happy to talk to anyone thinking of using Laird Building.
